Thumbs up Alpine CDA-105 Install in My S

I am looking to purchase an Alpine CDA-105 for my S. Crutchfield states that the OEM radio door may not close with this unit installed.

Has anyone installed this radio and do you have problems with the OEM door?

Hi Sccoterboy. That looks a lot like the one that ScottEvil had in his car, and I believe that his radio door closed.

Hey Guys, I got this HU from crutchfield http://www.crutchfield.com/p_070XHD6425/Du...25.html?tp=5684

I wired it up and everything but I can't push the HU back far enough. There is like half an inch of space before it gets pushed back far enough like the stock unit. It's so far out right now I can't even screw it in. How do you guys get it to fit with the extra wires in the back?

Thanks a lot any help is appreciated. Did you guys take out the entire dash to organize the wires to make it fit?
