alpine cda 117 with aux cable not working

Default alpine cda 117 with aux cable not working

I have a alpine cda 117 and plugged in my aux cable. The one that goes in the ai net plug in the back to make it into the red and white cable auxiliary and it doesn't work to plug into a mp3 player using the headphone jack and I cant get it to work. Can anyone give me some insite on this?

Make sure the AUX is turned on in the settings.

One of three things. Your RCA to 3.5mm jack, your ai net cable, or the radio itself.

Also. make sure you double check the AUX setting. That head unit has about 3 different aux inputs all labeled with the work "AUX" in it. Turn them all on and see if it starts working. If it does, just turn them off, one by one, until you know which one it the one you need.

When you plug in the 3.5 to the headphone jack does it stop playing from the internal speakers? if it doesnt, maybe you have a bad RCA to AUX cable. the digital aux should be off and the normal aux turned on under settings. so it should be Tuner>Cd>AUX>Ipod etc etc...

hey question about the 117. crutchfield told me this doesnt fit in honda s2000 because it folds down. is this true or does he not know what hes talking about

I have one in my S and it fit just fine. So yeah I would think he doesn't know.

Yeah mine closes just fine. As far as I can tell it doesn't hit it.
