Default Alpine CDA-117 and Modifry?

Does anyone know if the wired Modifry DCI is compatible with the Alpine CDA-117? It's a fairly new head unit and doesn't look like anyone has asked yet. Also what do you guys think of the CDA-117?

wired is the way to go. modifry also makes it really easy with Alpines - buy the plug n play harness and you don't have to solder anything.
