I've just ordered the 2005 model Alpine 9847R CD/MP3 head unit and KCE-865B steering remote adapter, allowing me to use the dash controls on the S. This option is only available in the UK, I'm afraid, but for those interested I shall be posting a review of the unit after I've used it for a few days. Don't go expecting a detailed audio review because I'm not an audiophile and I didn't buy a convertible sports car to drive slowly enough to hear the differences between head units. What I'll post is the usability and idiosyncrasies of the unit and how it works with the KCE-865B.

 

It doesn't matter because as soon as you plug that bad boy in you'll hear a hugh difference
