Just get the Modifry DCI for the dash controls, I love mine, the speed variable volume is worth the price alone and is mandatory on a convertible IMO.

It's 2 plugs. It really doesn't get much easier. That said, worth is always subjective.

Again. worth is always highly subjective. While I and many others use the dash controls all the time not everyone considers a DCI (or SCV) worthwhile.

The powerpak, did you get a vehicle specific harness? I read the newer model you need to splice wires

if you have the standard honda install harness you still have all you need.

the old power pack had a male and female alpine harness. the new version allows for wired or RCA inputs.

No I didn't end up getting the power pak. Thinking about getting the DCI, a better amp and a 10" sub. The splicing between the 2 harnesses was super easy. Any recommendation on a decent amp + sub or under $650? Thx

curious as well. I was piecing out an entry level system (it would be my first sub and i dont really know what Im looking for sound quality wise or power) for a few hundred [amp/sub].

I was looking at the pioneer 10" sealed box for 99$. I like the idea that it is small and low. I would get a 4 channel amp and power my 2 door speakers while the other 2 channels are bridged for the sub.
