I just installed the Alpine CDE-164BT head unit and the Modifry harness with the chip for original controls. Also got their bracket that allows my Iphone to mount next to the radio area, using two of the screws that mount the radio. Voice control for phone and GPS on it work great through the BT. Haven't tried talking at highway speeds with the top down, but I'm sure it will be fine. Getting the radio surround console plastic in and out was a bit of a strain, but doable with a putty knife without breaking anything.

I'll update more as I go along. I'm still trying to figure out how to write the SVC cable to get the volume to go up with the speed of the car. Anyone have any experience installing the svc?
Detailed pics and instructions come with it.

I made an installation video on the Sony. I still have to edit it but I'll post it once it's ready. Pretty straightforward and easy stuff. I thought I was gonna have a hard time with the svc cable but it was super easy.
Im very happy with my purchase of the Sony and modifry dci. I miss the mute function but it's a small price to pay for all the new features I have. I'll make a review video on it too

I put the Alpine CDE-HD149BT in today with the Modifry attachments. Got everything in and it works. The "Mute" button on the console just makes the console button not work, there is still music. Also the "Channel" button doesn't work. The "Audio Control" button now changes the songs, but not functions like the OEM set up does.

Did I hook something up incorrectly?

Are the DIP switches on the DCI set up for Alpine?

Also, read the modifry instructions - the dash buttons do involve some two finger pressing to get all the features of the head unit, but they all work. At least on mine they do.
