Alpine plug and play amp
Looking to get an amp, but don't really want to deal with the cost of wiring, nor am I that selective with audio. I came across this in a thread, but not sure if there's room for it behind the dash somewhere. Anyone have a clue?

no it wont fit behind radio! but you can pull panel at passenger knees and it should fit behind there without a problem......
I personaly would not use it, get a REAL amp and sub and make your s2000 sound decent.

lovegroova, thanks man. The search engine is always hit or miss, or sometimes doesn't work at all
.
I just installed the KTP. I put it behind the passenger knee panel.
It helped a lot on top of my alpine head unit. Im gonna get the alpine type s comp set soon.
it was well worth the purchase. i was thinking of going with a "real" amp as suggested above, but i realized that the KTP did in fact amplify the power output, and was indeed a real amp.
i say go for it. there is plenty of wire to tuck the KTP behind the knee well and youll have a better sounding system and maintain a clean looking S.
I was gonna go for a big powerful amp and a sub and some really powerful speakers but then i looked on here to see how people were mounting subs and amps and thought they looked ridiculous for the most part.

I've got it with my Alpine HU and Type S speakers. I put the amp behind the panel above the passenger legrest (where a normal glove box would be). Sits up there without rattling and hides the wires.
It definitely works and is worth the price. My system is more than enough, even with the top down.
