Default alpine time correction settings

I have installed the 9855 in my S and was wondering what time correction settings i should use? (for passenger door speaker versus driver) Also please specify the unit of measure you have set up with the settings.

thanks

I have played around with this when I got my Alpine. Makes no difference when you have the top down. The bass focus does more.

David, perhaps i'm asking the wrong question...

Can you (or someone) tell me what the bass focus is and how i adjust it.

Thanks

I think you asked the right question, and I think it makes a big difference.

All Bass Focus does is change time delay in pairs vs. individually. It's kind of a different function, kind of related...

I and others have posted our settings here before a couple of times.

See here for a start (this is before I had my sub installed, but should give you some indication): LINK

Remember your time delays depend on the distance from your speaker to your ear, so yours might vary depending on your install. The good thing is there aren't that many options for speaker location in the S!

If you have a sub in the trunk, you will have to go through the analysis in the attached thread because everything is based on your most distant speaker.

I have heard the before and after and the time delay makes a huge difference.....

How many speakers do you have? I see that you have a 2000, is it just the lower door front speakers?

Try setting the Right to 0 and the left to a 1.0 millsecond delay.
