Default Alpine I-Personalize settings

I am in the process of waiting for my Alpine 9815 to arrive in the mail (p.s. thanks for everyone that helped me in the decision process ). I know that there is an I-Personalize feature to this HU and am wondering if anyone would like to share their settings? I am not an "audio-person" so I have no clue to how it works and how it can positively affect my listening experience (I've already checked it out on the website). So if anyone would like to share some I-Personalize settings, that would be great .

I think you would be better served experimenting with the HU. the problem is that there are too many variables. For instance the X-over settings will depend on the speakers. In addiiton the type of music and what you like will determine how much you want to emphasis the base, midrange and treble.

I played with mine for a couple of weeks before I settled on something, but do still change them depending on my mood. If I find that my preference at a particular time is leaning to loud bass heavy music vs. high end guitar I will adjust them.

If you still want them, if I get a chance I'll send them to you when I have a chance to list them all.

Sorry

For what it is worth, here are my settings from i-Personalize. I have Alpines in the front and Kenwood Excelon's in the rear with the Bose RSX mid sub in the trunk.

I probably have changed it a bit on the HU but this would be what I started with.

Time Correction:
Front Rear SW
R(ms) 0 1.1 0.4
L(ms) 1.1 2.3 0.4

Crossover :
Front Rear SW
Frequency(Hz) 80.0 100.0 160.0
Slope(dB/oct) *12 *18 *6
Level(dB) -3 -4 -5

Parametric-EQ
Band1 Band2 Band3 Band4 Band5
Frequency(Hz) 80.0 200.0 500.0 1.6k 6.3k
Level(dB) -1 +1 +4 +3 +3
Width(Q) 3 3 3 3 3

*When setting the head unit, please refer to the chart below for Crossover Slope values.
Actual value
(print-out indication) Head unit setting
OFF 0
6dB/oct 1
12dB/oct 2
18dB/oct 3
24dB/oct 4

Wow, I finally got around to logging on, downloading, and installing my i-Personalize settings on my 9815. It wasn't difficult at all, and it made a huge improvement in the sound.

Gotta love technology!
