Default Alpine x305 iTunes features?

I'm wondering what extended iTunes features other users' are taking advantage of. I'd like to be using the "skip count" feature in my playlists, and smart playlists, but it doesn't appear that the x305 is updating skip counts on songs when I skip them.

Has anyone found documentation of what iTunes features ARE supported?

from my experience... only playlist and playlist order...I did try to use that skip count feature but... no dice.

It seems to handle Play Count ok which helps but isn't what I was hoping to get out of it. I did change the background image today and that was fun

I just don't understand why it's such a great iPod head unit when it's essentially just using the iPod as an external hard drive. My USB stick works just as well - even shuffles quicker.

Oh well.

You should try using a lesser head unit. It gets much, much worse out there.
