It's the gold box deal today. Is this a good deal? I was planning on upgrading my sound system. I want clarity (from the tweeters?) with some good base (from the components?)

I don't know much about audio so please excuse my ignorance. I just want some good clear treble and solid bass (without the use of a sub--not expecting booming bass or anything).

focal is a pretty popular brand. as far as i know their rep is good but the tweeters are too bright for my taste.

keep in mind if you get these you will need an amp to power them. they will sound pretty weak with direct power from your head unit.

 

any other opinions on these?

That's $150-$200 less than anywhere else I can find them. Sweet deal for sure. Amazing speakers.

 

good deal, i thougth about buying them but didn't want to drop another 250 when i already have mm6501s and some alumapros

 

will they fit in the S? tweet and components?
