Can anybody give me a lead on where to purchase the amber WY5W side marker bulbs (or Osram 2827)?

Need them badly for my clear lenses!!!

Are you referring to the actual sidemarker bulb? Try looking for 194 or 168 those are the more commonly referenced numbers. I went to 5 shops near me and no one had the amber though. I ended up getting a set of the electroplated ones off Ebay. Pricey, but it looks much better IMO. Will see how long they last though.

I found a couple of Amber 194's from Kragen and they seem to work (just not sure if they are the correct rating). Kragen doesn't carry any Amber 168's, so I will check Autozone.

I have read that the real WY5W's look better, but it seems they are only available in Europe?????

I'll go out to the garage tomorrow and see which ones they are specifically. I know they're amber sidemarker bulbs and I've got several boxes of them but not sure of the actual bulb number/manufacturer.
