Thumbs up AMP help!

Hey guys need help finding a new amp, mine seems to have blown its a jbl gt400? one channel comes and goes on its own, i have checked and re checked everything i'm just tired of it. I wana get a new amp what should i get??

i'm running Mb Quarts 6.5 premiums comp. (70-130W Max) in front and want to run a single 8" ~75-200W max (most likely JLaudio) with a single amp. any suggestions on what should i get? whats a good amp that would be good for this. if possible i would like to have the option open to amp some rear speakers in the future. HELP please thanks a lot in advance

Based on JL's rep for quality, the extra cost is worth it. Will you "hear" it? Probably not.

One benefit of the alpine amp that golfpro suggested is that it is incredibly small for the amount of power it puts out. As i'm sure you know already, smaller is better for our cars.

Another one you might want to consider is the Alpine Mrv-f345. It has quite a bit more power, and seeing as it is a 2005 model you can actually get it for cheaper than the mrp-f450. This will give you some more options in terms of choosing a subwoofer.

I'm in the process of installing a mrv-f435 in my car right now. I'll let you know how it sounds when its finished (hopefully in the next couple of days)

Forget them both. PM Darkknight and tell him you want a 100x4 @ 4ohms Alphasonik. (he is a sponsor on the board.) His name is John, and tell him Dave sent you, to get a complimentary car wash.

The PMZ12005A is MASSIVE. Make sure you know where you are putting it.
