Has anyone used those new Alpine amps, in particular the alpine PDX-4.150? Saw them at a shop today and they're tiny, which would make for easy installations. I'm just wondering if they're any good. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

that's pretty weird, the specs say 150 x 4 at 4 ohms, but also 150 x 4 at 2 ohms? what's that all about... interesting that they are stackable, though.

The one thing that gets me is how small they are and how much power they put out. Plus they don't have an external heatsink like other amps, and I couldn't see a visible spot where a fan was located. That's why I wanted to ask about them on here. So if anyone has anymore info than what's available on the Alpine site, please let us know.

They might have a regulated power supply (Like JL or PG Xenon amps)

Get the PMZ12005A and mount it on one of these. Based on the dimensions it will fit perfect on the flat cover and also look very nice.

It would look like this just not flush mounted.

I'm sure John can get you a very nice price also!

You will not be able to flush mount it. The amp is 9 1/4" which is to wide to flush mount it. However, you could still mount it like this.

You've got PM.

Here's a little install I did today for Dcon67, there is another amp tucked behind on a spare tire rack.
