amp for polk momo 6500's

Default amp for polk momo 6500's

ok i bought the Polk MMC 6500 speakers, my heart was set on the alipine type-r's for a year but after reading some reviews, i jus couldnt turn the polks down.
now im a complete noob to audio stuff and i was wondering what kind of amp should i be getting for these speakers
here is the speaker i bought.

i bought it off ebay for 150$ shipped though

should my amp be 2 channel or 4 channel?
how much watts / rms or watever?
what do the ohms mean?

or does anyone have a good suggestion of a amp that i could use?
i dont think ill be putting subs in cause from wat i hear u dont even really need it all that much with these 6.5 speakers it has very nice bass as it is and i dont really want to dynomat my trunk.

yes i did try searching about amps through the search button but i couldnt find the answer i was looking for, any help is appreciated thank you guys!

To run those you'll need a 2 channel amp that will power them with 125 watts of power at 4 ohms.

I can get you an amp them. Do you have a brand you have used before?

fwiw, I am running these at 75w/ch rms (Alpine mrv-f345) and they are more than loud enough and I'm running with the treble at -2 at the HU and zero gain at the amp. The speakers have excellent mid bass and unless you really want that low end thump, they are good speakers imo.

dk, do you think running them at 75w is okay?
