Default Amp Recommendation

What would you guys recommend to power infinity perfect 6.1s and a single 10" sub? I'm looking to get 1 amp to do the job, something good, i don't want to skimp out on quality.

Also, what's a good sub to get? is the infinity perfect 10 any good? or would you junkies recommend something else?

Thanks.

By they way, i have a 9831 HU if that helps.

Allen,

For the sub, I would look at either, my sub, (Alphasonik 800 series), Infinity Perfect DVQ, Eclipse.

All are in the 250 and under range.

As for amps....
Any amp thats 125x4@ ohms is perfect for you. Youll have 125 for each door and 500 for the sub.

As for amps....some nice suggestions...

Amzing amp, retarted price

These are the amps I have in my car (2 of them)...I really love them....never had an issue.

There are many more, but IMHO, these are great to get the job done.

Its also better to know what you want....do you want a stealth install or bling bling...do you want something cheap or quality...etc.

My vote is for the tarantula.....if you can afford it. Itll be the last amp you buy.

I have exactly the same setup (Perfect 6.1's, 10" sub) and am running a SoundStream VGA500.4 in the spare tire well. It's 125x4, which is just about right - as NFRs2000NYC said.

One point - you'll need to pay attention to your amp and your sub with this kind of configuration. A lot of the 4 channel amps (like mine) don't do two ohm stable when bridged. (They'll do two ohms on a single channel just fine, but not bridged.) So, you end up needing a sub with a single 4 ohm voice coil to bridge across two channels (or two 8 ohm voice coils to run in parallel, or two 2 ohm voice coils to run in series - and these are not common configurations). Four ohm single is easy to find though.
