All the products they sell are relative to SPL or Bass. I dont see anything "ultra high end" or im just a n00b when it comes to ultra high end.

Please educate me on high end equipment. Obviously, i dont know what im talking about.

 

Well, I mean, you can go spend $$$$ on CDT/Genesis/Audison/Focal etc...

Or you can invest into some of the companies that post in that forum and get the same quality. The guys in there are just as interested in SQ as they are in SPL.

I would argue that Soundstream/US Amps/Stereo Integrity equal the SQ of CDT/Genesis/Audison/Focal...


If nothing else, that forum is an excellent resource for novice EJ's trying to build a quality system. There are other forums that are excellent resources as well, and I thank you for posting them. More resources/more information is always a good thing for those hoping to build a quality setup.

 

same quality of sound? every speaker sounds different and have their own type of sound. I dont understand how speaker a can sound exactly the same as speaker b.

Have you ever performed an amp comparison in a controlled environment? Amps sound very different from each other. I have played with a lot of equipment know this from personal experience.

I do not agree with you that the people in there are just as interested in SQ as they are SPL. SQ guys cant take listening to SPL.

I would have to disagree that soundstream and us amps = the SQ of true high end SQ systems. Are they capable of building it, yes, but those days are long gone. I have heard the stereo integrity woofers before and they are pretty good, but it doesnt do it for me in SQ.

But my opinion on that forum being an ultra high end forum remains, it is not an "ultra high end" forum.

Has anyone here used SoundSolutionsAudio for a purchase at all? The price of $385 for the PDX 4.150 is tempting. If they`re reputable, then next is to see if they ship to Canada. hehe

Can anyone here recommend good coaxial or component speakers that compliment this amp well as far as power handling requirements go?
