amp wiring
yeah... i got that skin effect routine thrown at me.... i just about laughed my butt off... i think the poor guy was slightly insulted... oh well. 
no, the far bulk of my money for cabling is in interconnects... and even then, only for my primary listening components (CD to preamp, preamp to amp, DVD to preamp, etc.)... things like TV and VCR get medicore stuff that was left over from previous upgrades...
and for speaker wiring... i bi-wire my main speakers w/ relatively inexpensive larger gauge cabling to get the alleged 'large pipe' benefits... i can hear a clear difference between my non-biwired and biwired... but can't hear any difference between Monster's or Kimber's best and my biwire solution... speaker wire is highly over marketed.
