i am looking for a five or six channel amp. i have had:

ppi 6 channel 50x6 way back in the day, like 2003-2006 lol

jl audio slash 500/5 100x2, 25x2, 250x1 was the most recent and just konked out.

looking at

jl audio hd900/5

arc audio XDi 1200.6

not sure what to do. any advise?

i run an active setup for the component fronts, and have a jl audio 12w something in the trunk. been so long i cant even remember which series. it likes power from what i remember, and 250 watts was never enough.

 

Rockford Fosgate, makes some very good amps. But you can't go wrong with the jl audio hd900/5.

 

I have an Alpine PDX-V9 4x100 + 1x500 and it is superb.

Fits above the fuel tank as well, so nicely hidden away.

 

found a killer deal on a used 1200.6. 475 shipped. should be here monday. finally, tunes in the car again!
