I'm going to mount it next to the spare tire up against the back of the trunk. Any problems with this? I've seen it done, but I just want to make sure.
If you are going to mount it verticle - check the users manual. If it advises against it - buy an amp that will allow it.

I'm never going to find a place for my amp am I? Any suggestions? My tool well will have two 10-inch subs in it, so that won't work. Could I put it under a seat and have it in some enclosure so it won't damage the seats? It's 'bout 3 inches high.
Is it just impossible to have at least 1 cu. ft. of trunk space AND have a good system?

S2K1 - what type of amp are you trying to install?

I have heard of some putting the Blaupunkt PA4100 (4x100 @ 4ohms and 4x200 @ 2ohms) amp inside the spare tire - Do not know if this will work for you. It may also fit under your seat.
