Default Angled front speaker mounts

Just wondering if anyone had tried using angled speaker mounts/adaptor to tune the front speakers. I noticed that if you move your head towards the dash, there is a significant gain in mid and lows. Will angling the speakers have the same effect? If you have done so, can you please post your experience. Thanks

I've built quite a few custom tweeter pods built into the a pillars. The sound does change quite a bit.

I also built myself custom door panels to house a 3 way setup in the doors. Those angle down just a hair to fit but the sound is awesome just the same. Those speaker had a fair amount of power pumping to them too. Even on the highway with the top down, cruising right along at 75mph with this doors setup... you needed ear plugs if you turned it up
