Default Anti Theft Radio?

Hey everyone, I just got my '04 s2000 yesterday and i'm loving it! For some reason when I woke up today to go take it for a spin I noticed that the head unit won't turn on, it still let me eject the CD that was currently in it and there's a anti theft area that's blinking. I went online to find out some information and found out that if anytime the radio loses power it goes into this mode, I found the "Code" to re-enable it in my manual but for some reason the head unit doesn't display the typical "CODE" message on the screen, instead it's just completely BLANK. Is there anyway around this or am I screwed? Like I said I doubt it's messed up cause it still was able to eject my CD that was currently in it, but I tried entering the code that was in the manual and still no luck, maybe it has to do with the "CODE" message not showing up.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It actually sounds like its not powering on. Have you checked the fuses?

No not yet, sorry to sound stupid but would of it still been able to eject the CD with no power going to it whatsoever? I would think for it to be able to eject a CD it would still need power or no?

no, it wouldnt be able to eject the cd if the fuse was n.g....it sounds like the radio faceplate could possibly be fried.
