Anyone have a radar/laser scrambler? Do they really work? How do you know? What kind do you have?

I just installed the Lidatek Laser Echo a couple weeks ago. Have not gotten by laser yet though. Wish I had a law enforcement friend with a laser gu to test it.

 

I have a passport 8500 with the lidar system. The lidar system has kicked twice since I've installed it, both times i was about 15 over the 70mph on I75. I slowed down and didn't get a ticket. It also went off once when a fire truck on the run turned a corner in front of me. I wondered if that had something to do with their control of the stop light but I don't know.
i like both the passport and the lidar pkg, it's great that they integrate...one less thing on the dash...
