Probably $500-$600 including a basic 7" touchscreen. I can't commit to any pricing yet as I haven't begun work on it yet and don't know if there will be any unforseen issues. Price could end up slightly higher or even lower. My dash will be the guinea pig so to speak. That touchscreen is more aimed at CarPC setups and I will most likely have the option to put in whatever screen you choose like an Alpine or whatever.

Buyers will have the option of paying a core deposit of whatever a new dash costs from Honda, I believe around $380, which they would get back once I recieve their stock dash, or they can send me their dash to be done first. Finally, for those who wish to retain a spare dash, the option will be offered to just pay for a new dash outright and keep their stock dash themselves.

If all this works out, I will obviously need to purchase a sponsorship here on S2ki to make it all legit.
Awesome, keep us posted! I'm more in a market of just the dash without the screen, I want to be able to get any screen and just mount it easily without too much modification.

Maybe you can put in some work for an center console enclosure that fits a 6" sub and 5" coaxial speaker too! (Where the secret compartment is) Just a thought.

I'd make it all myself...but I just don't have the tools to keep things going smoothly. (Or the patience to sand the fiberglass down)

The center console sub would actually be easier to do than the dash will be. I will keep that in mind and start researching which subs would work better. Would you rather see a forward firing sub or top firing?

Sireous - If you can get this together, I would definitely be down sometime in the next year... I am due for another system overhaul anyhow. If you know John, I have been a good client for him... interested to see the precut dash and how it will look...

The way I picture the center console is to use the whole secret compartment as a sub enclosure, matted possibly with dynamat and some other light materials to act like an mdf enclosure. If the dimensions and the airspace is optimal for the chosen speakers, I think it won't matter which way the sub will face, the bass will come out solid in all directions. I think the sound made in this enclosure would be pretty good and clear due to the small space that this sub will have to project to.

I will also do some research at what kind of materials you could use and how much air space is needed for certain speakers to help you with this process. I'll keep you posted in the research. (That is if you don't already know all this)

I would favor going with a small MDF enclosure built into the secret comparment myself. The top cover would be modified, fiberglassed and re-finished to match afterward. I will see what I can come up with, but I have to be honest that the dash project is priority #1 right now.

If you can make the MDF enclosure to work, that would be even better! No worries about the sub enclosure, I was just throwing out suggestions.
