Default in dash screen

Hey, im new to the forum, n i was wondering if anyone ever tried to put in the eclipse model av5101 in dash set up in there S, i know the others dont fit but this one has a smaller screen and extands out alot fruther, has anyone tried this?

kicking a dead horse...........no it cant be done. you need to cut a lot of things and spend a lot of money to get it to work.

No. But no screen fits in an s2k. The dash overhang and shifter get in the way. THere is nothing short of shredding your dash that you can do to make it fit. Sorry.

how much did it cost to get that alpine screen installed...i went to one audio place around my way and told me 2100 to for a 7" SHARP screen and installation..i thought it was a tad bit expensive

The place that did mine will hit you up for around $1500.00. But that's with the Alpine screen you see above. That does not include that actuall Nav system or DVD changer.
