Anybody try this amp location?
Has anybody ever tried this spot? I did some searching and found out some people placing their amp between the foam stuff (which caused over heating problems) but I didnt find anybody placing it to the left of that area. My amp fits pretty snug and I really don't need any other support and it does have some breathing room.
I was wondering if anybody else have tried this spot and if they had any problems with it.

Also, a bit off topic but what the heck.. I'm looking to upgrade my sub since I think my amp is over powering it. When I run it too hard I can hear the sub clipping. Please correct me if I'm wrong, since I really don't know the technical stuff of the audio world..
The amp is a 1200 watt rockford fosgate. Its a dual channel so I'm going to need a dual channel sub, correct?
This amp use to power two 10" subs in my daily driver but I decided to build my own box and only use one sub for the s2k.

All I need to do is tuck the wires and I'm set.
thanks.

You should clean up the power wire which is wrapped around your gas filler tube.
In other words you dont want your power wire coming loose and having ANY possibilty to come in contact with that tube. Zip tie the crap out of those wires and keep them from moving along with the amp and you should be good to go.

Oh, haha. I already did that... thanks for clearing it up for me. I was just test fitting the amp while I was taking the pictures, thats why the wires are hanging all around the fuel line like that. I thought you guys ment the wires showing in my trunk. Those are all tucked away now as well.
