Default Anyone with a Clarion DXZ785USB? found it cheap...

newegg.com has the DXZ785USB for only $139 and from what I read on a couple of the audio geek forums it appears to be a stellar unit in sound quality and features but its ugly, not a problem for us since we have a panel that can cover it up.
Would like input, I mean its cheap enough and is bound to be a vast improvement over stock, I just have no experience with the recent models of Clarion HU's.
Thanks!

Honestly, almost any aftermarket HU much better than stock pos HU.

there is a reason why Clarion is dumping their HU on newegg, lol~

Seriously, stick with Alpine for pureness or Eclipse for smothness....

I bought one of the new JVC's with built in HD tuner and ipod hookup for $150 from sonic electronix online.
It has strong specs for the price, parametric eq, 24bit D/A convertor, etc. Will report back after I install it this weekend.
