Default Anyone have a compustar and a turbo timer working?

I have the compustar turbo timer option working on my car, but it's frustrating because no matter how hard/soft you drive the car the countdown is static at 2 minutes. So I bought a HKS type I auto turbo timer so it would not waste my car idling/gas if I only drove the car 2 blocks away.

I've tried tapping/retapping the ignition harness in everywhere combination possible to make this work, but the car never shuts off after the HKS countdown. Does anyone have a compustar and external turbo timer working? I'm sure it has something to do with the compustar reservation mode for autostart. Can anyone please help!

Thanks!

I think you can take off the reservation mode on your compustar. There should be a feature. I have a Zenesis Alarm and it has a "intelligent" turbo timer that works great!

You should check out this website. I have the ZN-302 on my car it has everything you'll need. its an Alarm, Remote Starter, also with Turbo Timer. The Turbo timer can be set to Static, or "intelligent". The turbo timer reads off the tach wire and keeps track of how long and how hard you drive. When you turn off your car it will run according to how you drive. if you drive a couple blocks it will run like 10 seconds or not at all depending on how hard you drive. You can do a lot with this alarm/remote starter. I could even control my top with the remote, so i can close it and open it from far away.

I have the compustar...if I don't want the timer to count down for 2mins I just hit the brakes after pulling the key which turns off reservation mode and I'm set....yes I then am not able to remote start, but that hasn't been a big deal for me.
