i am thinking about putting a 7 in. monitor into my center dash.

im wondering if anyone seen something like this or tried it?

also if anyone knows whats behind the the dashboard? i need at least 7in. in depth.

 

The Japanese S2000 comes with one in the dash. Too bad they can't offer it in N. America.

I'd like to see that. I really liked using that unit, wondering how it can be integrated into the S.

Just look in the thread at the top of the page or in the dash cutting club thread. People do them all the time.

 

here is my Eclipse AVN5435 as well as my gauge setup. sorry for the bad pic quality it was my camera phone. im running the Eclipse AVN5435 on top and the JVC KD-AVX1 which is a 3" DVD screen also which means 2 tvs running at once in an s2k!

 

Has anyone successed in doing a stealth install of a screen? I was thinking it would be great if one of the motorized screens could fit in the stock DIN opening, but I'm guessing the overhang above it would prevent this.
