Default anyone install the infinty 605 cs speakers?

i heard that they are a straight swap (no basket cutting) and sound very nice. can anyone verify?

also, what is the output in the stereo installed in the 02? i can't find the specs in any of the documentation received from the dealer

I have the 605 CS, and yep they are a straight swap for the main speaker, I then mounted the tweeter just in front and slightly higher with it angled back up towards me. A huge improvement on the stock speakers - very pleased.

As for the power - sorry can't remember

did you do it yourself? if so, how long did it take? is the door panel removal pretty straightforward?

I didn't do it myself, a friend of my brothers does car audio for a living so he did it very cheaply for me, but I have had to remove the door panel to refix the crossover box, and using the instructions Lucid very kindly put on his site (www.lucidautomotive.com) I removed and reattached the door panel really easily. Looking back I would have quite happily have done the work myself.
The only 'tricky' part would be drilling the hole for the tweeter, but that is more about "oh my god - what am I doing" kinda feeling!!
