Default Anyone install Kenwood Sirius????

I have and '03 S and got a Kenwood Sirius system for free! I have seen the threads on where to mount the antenna, but nothing on where to mount the unit. Can anyone help? Pics would be nice too! Thanks in advance.

Mount the unit either in the spare tire area, or like me, behind the passenger seat on the back wall (under the rear panel)
As for the antenna, the best and easiest place for it is by far:

You put the antenna on the underside of the trunk lid? And that works? I would think the metal would block the signal...

Oh.......I thought you meant the XM control "box"......that you hide in the tire well or wherever. The display you can attach to the inside of the foldout door, or flat behind the shifter, between the shifter and the base of the radio.

And yes, the XM antenna works like a charm under the trunk. THe entire trunk becomes the antenna this way. If you do put it under the trunk, make sure to do it like me (on the ribs of the trunk) and not on the trunk panel itself. This will result in flower petal shaped things to appear in your paint (metallic flake particles from the atmosphere pulled towards your paint by the powerful antenna magnet!)

did you have to undo the top to run the wire and antenna through to the trunk or was there an easy way to get it back there?

It was cake....just take of the rear panel (behind the seats with that hook) and you will see straight through. Let me know if you need more help.
