Got the IPC-106 ipod adapter thing in so hopefully it will work how I want it. Had to remove the little clasps so I wouldn't need to press the sides to release the ipod so if it doesn't work I'm screwed haha.

We got this done tonight. Ryan's on his way home right now where I'm sure he'll take and post pics.

A few things we decided should have been done differently, but overall, it works and looks pretty damned good.

Will update with some photos hopefully today. Decided to go ahead and reupholster the armrest since it seemed a little loose and I didn't cut the hole out perfectly so you could see a couple slits. I decided to go with a black suede so should hopefully look really nice. It works perfectly!
Dash controls all work for the iphone and whats really cool when someone calls the music turns off and the speakers ring. The Ipod interface was only $50 shipped too. Will not work with the 3g iPhones I don't think but works with all other ipods and the 1st gen iPhone.

Looks better than where we finished

Did you do the upholstery yourself or have someone else do it?

Now you just need to redo the shift boot and e-brake handle in that same suede.

I had the place cut it out I got it from and then did the rest myself. Stitching is ok not great but blends in pretty well. Gave me new padding which was good too. Glued in the plug and seems to be holding great. Clicks right in when I put the phone in the spot now. Gotta see if I can talk through the speakers still. Havent tried that yet.
Yeah I would like to do the shift boot and ebrake. Would look great. The pictures make it look much grayer in color than it is as always happens for some reason with my dcam. It is actually black in color.

Did you remount the plastic tray as we'd discussed or leave it where we had it?
