I did it the same place. Was gonna be a bit too low I think if I mounted it underneath like we talked about. The trim around the dock looks much much better now I think though. Probably would have looked better tucked under but my dremel still wasn't working as I'm missing an attahcment so couldn't easily even out the bottom surface to mount it.

 

Looks great from what I can tell. I actually like that the edges sit a bit high, protect the edges of your phone a bit maybe.

I installed the new tweeters in the S, sounds so much more clean than the diamond tweeters did. Had to dremel out an opening in the tweeter grille since these are so much larger... Covered the entire thing with that speaker cloth, looks really good. You should look into finding some AP2 door skins so you can better mount your tweeters (and upgrade to the SEAS tweets I have, lol)

 

Yeah I was going to but wanted the red/black as I plan to do my seats sometime so went with a free trade offer on the forum. Yeah I can hear the tweets I have now but not familiar with other set ups so don't know what I'm missing haha.
Hey any chance I could come by sometime to get my GPS and radar hardwired? tired of sacrificing radar when I use my GPS haha. And got the modifry bracket on the way for gps so would be nice to have it permanantly mounted.
