I'm currently running the Alpine CDA-9835 and wants to hook up the Alpine KCA-420i (Ipod Control Interface). Obviously to control the Ipod through the head unit. Anyone out there that's using this set up? I primarily want to know if the Alpin KCA-420i would work with my head unit.

I also saw this...Alpine KCM-123B
Auxiliary input adapter cable (M-Bus to mini-plug) Wonder if this will work also.

I have this setup and it works fine for me. The newer style (new HU and high speed adapter cable setup) runs better but I think this setup works fine.

Im sure it is the 9835 + KCA 420i. That is what I used to run when I had that HU. It is a little slow when scrolling through songs, but other than that, not too bad....
