Hey , does anyone know how to convert an ap2 cluster into an ap1 ? I googled how to do it but the only answer I get is to cut the wires ... I'm wondering if you guys would know of a site that maybe sells a conversion harness ??

 

Highly doubt there is a harness this isn't a real common swap. Are you at all savvy with wiring? You may have to wire this all in yourself. If so I can probably supply the Diagrams and Pin-outs for the clusters if you can tell me what year car and what year cluster you have. If you aren't savvy at wiring then this probably isn't a good idea for you to do.

 

if you are doing this to get the 9K tach, id suggest for a few bucks more sourcing a UK AP2 cluster. its the same as the US one, but revvs to 9k.
