This allows you to program your garage door opener and several (2-3) auto ON for home appliances like lights.

The install really isnt that tricky, you just have to learn from my mistakes

#1 heat the old button up with a small torch and twist with a vice grip while it heats up....the seal will loosen and break (do this inside a garage if its cold out!)

#2 the kit comes with the glass adhesive for the new mount. It is the same thing they use to mount oem ones
