Default Auto-down, Auto-up windows

Anyway to convert the windows to do an auto-down, auto-up type function. Currently, the Drivers window is auto-down if you push down on it, but that's it. But when you use the power top, it does auto-down on both windows.

There's gotta be a way

You know, that's a damn good question. I know on 3-series convertibles there's a dedicated button for "auto up/down all windows". I also know you can get aftermarket "devices" (not positive what they are, but I imagine a collection of relays, maybe a processor of some sort) that will add this functionality.

Not to thread jack, but I guess a good start would just be auto down on the passenger side, does anyone know what exactly differentiates the driver/passenger windows that allows one to go auto down? is it simply the switch?

Most aftermarket alarms have an optional module for auto up/down. I have a Viper (DEI) and I have it Works off the key fob also

Can anybody who got these testify to how well they work? What other options are there? I'm interested in making both my driver's side window buttons do auto down, and maybe auto up. What options do I have?

i use the dei pn 530t for my windows. auto up/down on both and is tied in to roll the windows up on arm.

dont really care for the autoloc devices. they are cheap and have seen some have issues.

So I'm interested in in auto rolling w/o an alarm system in the mix - the DEI's will work independednt of an alarm system? Thanks for the info.
