Default auto window lowering function disabled ? why ?

... hi,

i've put some new speakers into the doors. but now the function of the window up/down button just works when i hold them. the function that they lower and rise completely by pressing the button full down or pulling full up is out of work.

Check to see if the drivers window lowers itself when you lower the top. If not the entire assembly probably needs to be replaced. This has been a fairly common problem with the S2000.

Mine doesn't hold on the down position every once in a while. Just let go and do it again.

I don't have an auto-up feature. Difference between the US and Euro versions?

I had EXACTLY the same problem when I replaced my OEM speakers. The next time I tried it (ie after turning off the ignition and coming back to the car later), it worked no problem and has been flawless ever since. Very strange.

maybe the car had to reset itself ? ...

yes, we have auto up at drivers side too ... but i can't imagine why honda should use different switches for the window ...

it may be to the fact that they don't want to get a lawsuit because someone autoupping the window while someone else has his head between the window ...

Americans are sue happy. We weren't given the auto-down feature on the Del Sol either. I saw them in Germany when they first game out.

I might order one just to check it out.
