The reason I asked about this is I'm looking for a place to mount the roady2 from XM radio. If I could route the antenna/power through the visor in the same way you have it done...

Well, Bob's yer Uncle.

Deal breaker here is that you've had an extra thick piece of a leather stiched deal to the visor adding alot of ridgidity to the visor itself.

How was the unit cemented into the visor itself. Like how did you make this small panel super secure ?

So again, not really interested in the wiring part, more or less the actual mounting on the visor. AND, who did the work for the stiching and what did that cost ya?

BTW : Awsome JOB

Odd that I'm not getting my subscribe topic notifications. Anyhow, Reds2kracer do you have photos of what you've done? Thanks!

Isn't that a RickS2k leather visor cover? I'm thinking about picking that and the center console cover.

No its not a Ricks cover. I had it custom done, and cost me $35 bucks

As for how I have it secure... its pressed into place, aka..nothing but its been in there for a few years and it hasn't moved yet. You could just use hook and loop velcro to hold it in place but like I said before; I cut the foam so it's barely able to fit. Then once it was wrapped it was super snug. The thing is not coming out of that hole unless I pull it out.

Well majestik, I don't really have photo of what I'd done but it'll look exactly how darkknight has his with fumbling around with hot glue. If you need to know more about how I did it then you can PM me and I'll gladly assist you on this, let me know...

My pod is a complete replacement of the A-piller, not a cover.

darkknight has the replacement A-pillar pod, I have the A-pillar cover pod but modified it so that now it's a replacement A-pillar pod like darkknight and no longer just a top cover. It fits flush just like darkknight's and doesn't move unless you decide you want to, hope this help...
