AUX on 04+ headunit?
Hey all,
Just picked up a s2000 and the previous owner upgraded the CD player to an 04 unit and I see an aux button on there.
I have an FM tuner for my iPod, but its not all that great and I'd prefer to direct connect it. Is there a way I can get a cord into the back?
I'll look at the back of the thing tomorrow and see whats up if I have time.
I also have headrest speakers if that makes a difference.

Anyone know which would be best? The pie.net and PAC people offer solutions that let me control the iPod from the audio controls on the stereo, which is really nice and they charge it iPod as well.
Anything I should know about either? Sorry for the questions but I'm not a huge electronics buff.

Unless the control work from the pod on the left side ofthe dash, having radio controls are kind of useless IMO. I have an aux-in for my iRiver on my '06 and love it. It does not recharge my unit, but I just turn it on shuffle and leave it alone so don't need controls. Works great with excellent sund quality: http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/stor...N03_PC_SON.html
and only $80 as well
Good luck.

$80 and charges my iPod while its plugged in. If it's on shuffle or in any playlist, I can change tracks with the button on the left like a CD I think.
