Is it bad to Amp the stock speakers????
Ok, really not interested in having to replace the stock speakers, but still wanna run an AMp to them..
Will they sound any good with it???
Any suggrestions? I am looking to get a 4-channel amp to run the stock speakers and a 10" sub... I am looking for inexpensive, yet decent.. Any input will be greatly appreciated..
Thanks

I have a MY04, I added an amp to the stock HU and front speakers. I used a line output converter to change the speaker level outputs to RCA level before feeding it to the amp. I get a lot more bass out of the stock speakers now.
I have actually amped my stock woofers with a Zapco Studio 300x and they sound pretty good! I'm very impressed with the quality of the stock components.
I was trying to fit a Oz Audio 180 CS component set. The tweeters are much too large, but I managed to fit them. The woofers are also much too large. The basket won't fit inside the stock plastic mount. In fact, I need about 3/4 to 1" of space for it to even fit inside the stock hole in the sheet metal. They're a 180 cm woofer(7"). I ended up needing to take my car on a trip so I just left in the Oz crossovers and tweeters and amped the stock woofers.
