bass question
How much bass can you actually hear with a convertible car? I had a Mustang once, and you could hear it ok with the top up, but little to no sound with the top down. The top would block the sound pretty good when down. With the top up, all I had to do was remove a vinyl liner that the top sat on and presto, straight shot to the trunk from the back seat. It was kinda like having a hatchback, where there is no interferance from the back area, straight bass.

Cool, I have everything except for the box. I didn't know what to expect or if it was even worth the trouble to build/buy a sub box. Oh, also is it possible to install 5 X 7's behind the rear seat? I have a pair of MB Quarts and want to use them instead of having to buy more speakers.

Not really you'd need to build the panel out with fiberglass to fit them. So it will depend on how tall you are and if you want to spend the money to have custom panels made for them

Thanks darkknight, I'm kinda short, 5' 7", so I do have some room behind the seat. I was going to ask another question, but I think I will just open a new thread.
