Probably a question that has come up a few times, but how do the subs sound in the trunk with the top up? how about when it is down? I am looking for a clear crisp sound with the top down and up.. I don't want anything extravagant.. just good sounding..

 

Build a box and port it into the cabin... There your done

 

No really it would depend on the setup you have and the equipment you decide to use. You should have no problem getting the sound your looking for using the right equipment.

I just have an 8" Eclipse in one of wlaurent's boxes...it sounds great, top up or down.

 

I have a Orion H2 12" sub that sounds real nice with the top up or down. Installing 2 rear cabin speakers should give you the sound your looking for but to make it sound better I would at least get a 10 or 12 inch sub as well.

 

My setup I can hear/feel the sub clear as day top up or down 10mph or 100mph.
