Default Battery draining

hello everyone

i am having a problem with my battery, on more than one occasion i have got in my car and dont seem to have the charge to start the engine. im 99% sure nothing has been left on to drain the battery but i have read that it could be the alarm. the other day i got in my car and drove to the petrol station (about 15min drive) filled up and when i returned to my car it was completely dead. no start at all. the car is an 08 so the battery isnt that old. has anyone else with this age car had any problems? i have ordered a new battery from honda and will be collecting the it tonight.

thanks steve

Not entirely relevant, but down in the south, 2 years on a battery isn't unheard of due to the heat. This holds especially true with black cars and cars parked outside in the sun because of sheer heat on the battery. My Element that I had a few years back was black and the battery lasted just over 2 years before it was so bad the car couldn't run the radio to get it home....yet would run fine on a jump with the battery disconnected. Hopefully this will help others in the future for searches

+1 I wouldn't buy an OEM replacement but to each his own.
