Beep on button push on Pioneer HU
Hey guys, was wondering if it is possible to turn of the beep when you push a button. I have the speed sensitive voluming hooked up and it gets kinda tiresome always hearing the beep. Oh, i have the DEH-P2500. Thanks.
Thanks, I'll give that a try. I find it interesting that they would make it impossible to turn off such a thing. Surely they must know that some people wouldn't like it beeping every time you push a button.
Runaround,
To the best of my knowledge you are not able to turn the beeps off, but you can turn the warning beeps off after you cut of the key power.
1)Hold down the Source button until the unit turns off
2)push the function button until a menu pops up (usually starts with the clock setting, now you can set that too)
3)using the 4 arrow buttons on the rights side of the deck push the left or right one until you come across the option that says "WARN ON"
4)using the up and down arrows, push either to turn to "WARN OFF"
On some of the Alpine units you can turn that beeping feature off.
Hope this helps,
Neil

thanks, yeah i got that stupid warn beep turned off in a hurry. that was iritating the crap out of me. I had a sony unit in my last car, there was an option to turn the beep off. This is a nice idea. I think you should be able to do that on all headunits. Some people just don't like beeping.
