Belden Speaker/RCA cables from home audio?
Have you guys tried Speaker / RCA cables from home audio on the S2000?
I have read many good reviews for Belden cables for home audio, since they are great performance/$ and they arent much more money than generic stuff.
Here are the specific cables Im planning to run:
Belden 5000up (12 gauge speaker wire) http://www.belden.com/techdatas/metric/5000UP.pdf
Belden 8412 (RCA cable) http://www.belden.com/techdatas/metric/8412.pdf
Canare F-09 RCA Connector (RCA plugs) http://www.canare.com/UploadedDocuments/Au...ine%20Plugs.pdf

If you are using an amp, you can use any RCA cable (even the ones that come with your dvd/vhs/cable box). It just depends on how crappy you want your audio being fed to your amp. The reason why rca cables for car audio is made the way they are is to shield from distortion and be able to handle the distance of any car... notice that RCA cables for car audio are really long. Some cars can get away using thinner unshielded cables, while others get a humming noise added to the audio out of their speakers. This can be reduced by running power from the battery on one side of the car while running the RCAs and speaker wires on the other.
I'm not 100% sure on the Belden quality.. but definitely let me know how it is.
