I just got a s2k about a week ago and was wondering what kind of alarm system would be the best for it. Also i was considering the viper vx series and i have a soft top

best is all relative to your needs. i personally run a clifford matrix 2.5x with a motion sensor. the 2.5x by itself was right at $400 installed, and it was another $100 to add the motion sensor so during quick trips inside, i can leave the top down w/o worry.

what i would avoid is an autostart. if you leave your car in gear and try to auto start, you could have yourself a fancy new decoration in your garage wall.
