I am not stating from experience, I am quoting the manufacturer. They all state that they do NOT warrant install error (overpowering, etc) So if you fry a coil they (according to them) will not warrant it. I hope im wrong, but just stating their policy.

 

You're absolutely right........BUT.........I have yet to deal with "any" mfg that wouldn't swap one out for a customer. If it continues to happen with a particular customer, they might clamp down so to speak, but for the most part, will still exchange it.
