Default Best bass up front

Can you audiophiles out there please recommend me a set of front speakers (to replace the OEM speakers) that will give me the best bass possible up front. I realize 6.5" drivers really can't give much bass at all, but despite that, can someone nonetheless give me a recommendation on which of the 6.5" speakers out there that fit in the OEM space will give me the best bass. I don't want to run an amp either. I know this isn't going to yield any significant gains at all, but it's what I want to do for now. P.S. I'm using a stock MY00 HU.

Much thanks in advance.

Jason

I realize the great limitations of the stock HU. I was just asking, given the limitations and parameters I posted above, what would give me the best bass (if you can even call it "bass"). Anyways, which front speakers will give me the best low frequency response.

The biggest obstacle you'll have to overcome is the lack of power in the stock H/U. There are a lot of aftermarket speakers that will sound much better than the stock speakers, but considering that bass frequencies utilize about 80% of the available amp power in the deck, there just isn't enough there to make a huge difference in the bass response................highs and mids yes, to a certain degree. You might want to re-consider adding a small amp & sub.............It will make a huge difference in the sound. Good luck!

Ok,..

Well,.. (given my listening taste) I would look at Alpine SPX-177a's, Diamond audio, MBQuarts (these tend to be bright though), ummmm.... lets see maybe Focals but I think those will be to bright and to expensive ,...

Thosae would be my suggestions, others will pop in soon and post their thought as well.

You really should get a new HU first.

If adding an amp will significantly allow more bass up front, then that may be a consideration as well I guess. Shouldn't cost too much for one to just drive the fronts.

How about Kappa 6.1? Not as much bass as the ones you listed?
