I will look into the Optima vs something like the Duralast Gold from autozone (3 year free replacement and 8 year prorated warranty)..

I've used Duralast in the past with good results, even when powering a 1000w system.

I have the stock battery now, and it should be good to go for a few years even with my near 1000w system that I have.
